Why I created this course

Over the years, countless clients have told me they wish they’d sought therapy sooner. Unfortunately, many people wait until issues have already escalated—resentments have built up, betrayals have occurred, and tensions have grown. With that in mind, I wanted to create something for couples and individuals considering therapy, as well as for those who already have strong, healthy relationships and want to maintain or enhance them.

What’s Included

  • 20+ video lessons for you to watch on your own schedule, and at your own pace

  • Lifetime access to all of the content inside the course, without a recurring monthly payment

  • Access to all future lessons we add to the course

  • Exclusive access to monthly Q&A Livestreams where Shirley will answer YOUR submitted questions anonymously

Think about this: where did you learn the partnership skills you use today? How about your conflict management or empathy skills? Most of us inherited these abilities, for better or worse, from our parents or primary caregivers when we were very young. Over time, we may have refined them—or we may have simply continued using the same "default" skills without much thought or improvement.

Now consider this: the skills you use in your partnerships today are likely the same ones you'll pass on to your children and grandchildren. Why not take this opportunity to refine and strengthen them? This course is like polishing heirloom silver before passing it down—giving future generations the tools they need to build healthier, happier relationships of their own.

Take the first step toward breaking unhealthy patterns and fostering a legacy of connection, understanding, and empathy.

Monthly Livestream Q&A’s

Because having real access to the instructor is important for classes like this, I invite members to live Q&A’s with me every month. Where you can tune in, share your thoughts, and submit your questions with a chance to be answered by a professional couples therapist! (anonymously, of course)

A Brief Message

If you ask most people what they value most in life, "relationships" almost always ranks in the top three. And yet, research consistently shows a disconnect: while relationships are deeply valued, most of us spend far less time, energy, and resources nurturing them than we believe we do.

This gap isn’t a failure of intention—it’s often a matter of priorities being overshadowed by daily demands or simply not knowing where to start. Strong relationships don’t happen by chance; they require effort, intention, and the right skills to flourish. By dedicating time to a course like this, you’re not just honoring your stated values—you’re aligning your actions with them.
